1.湘西土家打镏子
1.Tujia Percussion ensemble (West Hunan)

龙山县位于湘西土家族苗族自治州的西北部,是土家族最重要的聚居地之一。在当地,唱山歌、住“吊脚楼”依然是许多乡村民众的生活方式,每逢婚嫁喜庆、过年过节以及祭祀祈祷更要演奏传统器乐“打溜子”。
当地的“打溜子”(又称“家伙哈”)乐队一般由四件打击乐器组成,有时亦加入唢呐配成吹打演奏的形式。龙山县土家族“打溜子”于2006年成为首批“国家级非物质文化遗产”的保护项目。
Longshan County, located in the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture of western Hunan province, is one of the most important areas for Tujia People, one of the Chinese minorities. For most villagers, singing folk songs and living in a “Diaojiao Lou”(a wooden house supported by wooden poles that stands two meters off the ground) are both still part of the local lifestyle. During important events such as weddings, local holidays and worship, there must be a performance by the traditional percussion ensemble called “Daliu Zi”.
The “Daliu Zi” ensemble consists of four percussion instruments, and the suona(Chinese clarinet) is sometimes added in order to make the ensemble more attractive.” Daliu Zi” is part of Tujia culture and was labeled as a “National Intangible Cultural Heritage” in 2006.

3.  Te Whare Wānanga o Te ūpoko o te Ika a Māui

Rangiāhuta Ruka Broughton是负责建立维多利亚大学Te Herenga Waka会堂的核心人物之一。会堂建于1986年,刻有新西兰南北两岛各部落具有代表性的祖先图像,是学习、表现毛利文化和语言的坚强堡垒。对毛利人来说,部族的归属和区别与他们的一致性同样重要。通过各种表演选择的舞蹈类型、曲目和风格来确认这些区别和一致。此作品反映了表演中的传统方面。

Rangiāhuta Ruka Broughton was one of the core people responsible for the establishment of Victoria University of Wellington's, Te Herenga Waka Marae.The meeting house, built in 1986 has carved figures of eponymous ancestors representative of every tribal group found in the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The Marae is a bastion point for learning and the expression of Maori language and culture. Tribal affiliations and distinction are as important to Māori as is their unity. Both distinction and unity are acknowledged through the dance types, composition and style selected for this performance. This piece is a reflection of traditional aspects of performance that continue to be practiced by Māori on their Marae.

4. HAWAIAN SONGS

Ahe Lau Makani(莉莉沃卡拉尼皇后创作于1868年):这首歌曲代表了19世纪夏威夷皇室成员创作的一种音乐体裁,由皇后莉莉沃卡拉尼创作。当时她被囚禁于宫廷中。这首歌曲的词和旋律为人所熟知,以她美丽的花园来比喻她对国家和人民的爱。

Ku’u Pua I Paoakalani(莉莉沃卡拉尼皇后创作于1895年):这首歌曲是莉莉沃卡拉尼创作的情歌,运用夏威夷的寒风、细雨来比喻情侣间的宁静时刻。

Ahe Lau Makani (Queen Lili’uokalani, 1868)
The song is an example of a genre of music from the 19th century in Hawaii composed by members of its royal family.  “Ku’u Pua I Paoakalani” was written by Queen Lili’uokalani, while she was incarcerated at her home Iolani Palace. The lyrics and melody of this well known and popular song, refer to the beauty of her garden and metaphorically to her love of her nation and people.

Ahe Lau Makani is a mele ho’oipoipo or love song composed by Queen Lili’uokalani.  Its lyrics use the metaphor of cool breezes and light rains in Hawaii to refer to quiet moments enjoyed between a loving couple.

6. Hand to Hand
 

《手牵手》是为庆祝新西兰当代两位重要舞者而创作的作品。《手牵手》建立在对舞者长期的研究过程之上,有赖于编舞家独到的合作语汇和两位舞蹈家的特殊默契。作品与圣经图像中的《雅克布奋力与天使搏斗》有一定关系,是在当代环境中的重塑。编舞利用男人之间身体关系的模糊性,形成一种亲密与猜疑、官能与抱负的缠绕。

Hand to Hand is a celebration of two of New Zealand’s leading contemporary dancers of recent decades. Hand to Hand was created on the dancers during a long research process and draws upon the choreographer’s unique partnering vocabulary and the special rapport between the two dancers. The work is loosely based on the biblical image of Jacob Wrestling with the Angel, reconfigured in a contemporary setting. The choreography, intertwining intimacy and suspicion, sensuality and aggression, draws on the ambiguity of physical relationships between men.

 

米歇尔-帕门特,是新西兰主要舞蹈家和编舞家之一。80年代曾与纽约舞蹈家埃里克-霍普金斯、斯蒂芬-派特里奥、日本舞踏舞蹈家田中明合作演出。在国内外的编舞生涯长达三十年。他的作品广泛,从独舞创新作品到大型歌剧院作品,编有众多知名作品,如《两火之间》(1982年)、《种族》(1992年)、《黑暗森林》(1993年)、《漫长的解衣》(1997年)、《耶路撒冷》(1999年)、《女同性恋的婚礼》(1995年)和去年的《露营》等等。

Michael Parmenter is one of New Zealand’s leading dancers and choreographers.  During the 80’s he danced in New York with Erick Hawkins and Stephen Petronio and in Japan with butoh dancer Min Tanaka. He has choreographed consistently for thirty years in New Zealand and internationally. His works span the spectrum from innovative solo works to large-scale opera-house productions, and include such acclaimed works as Between Two Fires (1982), The Race (1992), The Dark Forest (1993), A Long Undressing (1997), Jerusalem (1999), Les Noces (1995) and last year’s TENT.
 
 

艾登-穆尔霍兰德,毕业于新西兰联合理工学院的舞蹈专业,于1998年获得当代舞蹈的国家文凭,目前是接触指南针和黑色优雅公司的艺员。给他编舞的人是安-戴维和西恩-科尔瀚。自2001年从英国巡回演出归来后,艾登决定投身作曲,并为舞蹈、戏剧创作音乐。艾登同样也是Motocade摇滚乐队的吉他手、歌手和创作人。

Eden Mulholland graduated from UNITEC's dance programme with a National Diploma of Contemporary Dance in 1998, and danced for choreographers Ann Dewey and Sean Curham and as a member of Touch Compass and Black Grace companies. After returning from a dance tour to the UK with Ann Dewey in 2001, Eden decided to concentrate on music composition and has been composing music for dance and theatre since 2000.  Eden also the guitarist/singer songwriter for Motocade.

 

塔尼-麦特,Ngati Kahungungu me Ngati Koriki,1988年光荣毕业于新西兰舞蹈学院,被认为是全国最为杰出的舞蹈家。22年的舞蹈生涯,与众多团体合作。塔尼是黑色优雅舞蹈公司的创建成员和高级舞蹈家,在新西兰联合理工学院的表演艺术专业执教,为新西兰时装周、维克特竞技场开幕式等许多活动进行编舞。塔尼还在肖纳-麦克克拉夫的短片《撞击》和彼得-杰克逊的《金刚》中出演。

Taane Mete (Ngati Kahungungu me Ngati Koriki) graduated with honours from the New Zealand School of Dance in 1988 and is considered one of this country’s most outstanding and versatile dancers. His 22 years of experience has seen him perform with many companies. Taane was also founding member and a senior dancer for Black Grace Dance Company. Taane also works as a choreographer and dance tutor at UNITEC Performing Arts and has choreographed sections for many events including New Zealand Fashion Week and the opening of the Vector Arena in Auckland.Taane also featured in the short film Hurtle by Shona McCullagh (Human Garden), and Peter Jackson’s King Kong.

泰罗亚-罗耶尔,Te Arawa, Kai Tahu, NgatiRauwaka, Uenukukopako族后裔,毕业于新西兰舞蹈学院,与各大公司在国内外广泛演出。泰罗亚为澳大利亚许多有影响的活动进行编舞,包括惠灵顿的蒙大拿世界持久艺术奖活动、悉尼的梦想艺术节、奥克兰的公园音乐会及环球小姐比赛等等。泰罗亚也在理工联合学院的表演和银幕艺术学校执教。2006年参演塔尼玛胡塔-格雷执导的《茂伊岛——人神对抗》,其出色表演是从艺生涯中的亮点之一。

Taiaroa Royal (Te Arawa, Kai Tahu, NgatiRauwaka, Uenukukopako) trained at the New Zealand School of Dance and has since performed with major dance companies both at home and abroad. Tai has choreographed many high profile events across Australasia including the Montana World of Wearable Arts Awards in Wellington, The Festival of Dreaming in Sydney, Auckland’s Concert in the Park and Queen of the Whole Universe. Tai has also spent time teaching at the UNITEC School of Performing and Screen Arts, The New Zealand School of Dance and a number of private dance schools. Tai cites his performance in 2006 with Maui – One Man Against the Gods, directed by Tanemahuta Gray, as one of his highlights.   

丹尼尔-库珀,2001年毕业于新西兰舞蹈学院,2002年开始担任道格拉斯国内演出季的候补演员,之后与黑色优雅舞蹈公司合作,在各种艺术节和世界各地的剧院表演。近期担任新西兰皇家芭蕾舞团教育家。

Daniel Cooper trained at The New Zealand School of Dance and graduated in 2001. He then understudied and danced in Douglas Wright’s 2002 season of Inland, then went on to dance with Black Grace Dance Company. During his time with Black Grace, Daniel performed at festivals and in theatres around the world. Currently, he works as a Dance Educator for the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
