Upon verification, it has been confirmed that during the final round of the 2025 International Competition for Young Composers (ICYC), the submitted work Sonus / lumen received an award in another composition competition. This constitutes a violation of the competition’s regulations.

Following a careful consideration by the Organizing Committee and in accordance with the competition regulations, the entry has been disqualified from its finalist position, and the associated certificate has been revoked.

The ICYC remains committed to upholding the principles of fairness, integrity, and transparency. Any violation of the rules will be addressed appropriately. We appreciate the ongoing support and attention from the public.
